My first story appeared in The Columbian on July 19, 2010. It was a front page story about a mentor cat program at the Humane Society.

Jordan was editor-in-chief of the Clark College student newspaper, The Independent, from winter 2009 to summer 2010. While editor, the newspaper won 11 awards and published 16 issues.
